Memories Last Forever
I was very moved to see other teams face to face yesterday for the very first time. I know that all of us from different part of the world, take turns to do the translation for Kaoshiong book club but I have never seen them or heard them shared their experiences before. Being together yesterday, sharing each other experiences made me feel that I am not alone. All the challenges I experienced or encountered are also faced by the other team members. Throughout all these, we also improved and excelled together. We could laugh together looking back how nervous and panicky we were when we first started. It is one whole big family working together to learn and spread the Dharma, to carry out Master footprints together.
The feeling of not being alone, the feeling of being in one big family and the feeling of love was very much how felt yesterday in our first get together on cloud. This pandemic has really brought us all, from different part of the world, closer together as we are now using a different method to connect with each other, more efficiently and more regularly which we otherwise wouldn’t have thought we could do so. Teacher Mei Yun and the Kaoshiong book club gave us all the guidance and opportunity to learn and spread the Dharma.
Yesterday was a forever memory to me. As what Master says, do not forget that year, that moment. I will never forget yesterday. I believe, as long as we have Memories, Yesterday remains. As long as we have Hope, tomorrow Awaits. As long as we have Love, today is Beautiful.
I signed off from our Zoom logged in yesterday with Memories, Hope and Love. Memories, of us all together yesterday, Hope, we all continue to walk this Bodhisattva path together, life after life, and Love, the greatest love of all from the Tzu Chi one big Family!
Grateful, very grateful indeed to yesterday!
